Jeff Kelly, campus clown and resident “DJ” at exclusive Wickersham Boarding School must somehow ace his finals or spend the next four years in military school. What’s worse the powerful new Slate 5000 Education System on its maiden voyage at Wickersham attempts to regiment every nanosecond of staff and student life through its super straight on-screen teacher personality “Mr. Slate”. And Mr. Slate is not giving Jeff a moment’s peace.
In a desperate bid to pass his finals Jeff uses his roommate’s cutting edge science project to download course material from the Slate 5000 System directly into his brain. But something goes terribly wrong and Jeff’s mind and memories get sucked back the other way. Jeff wakes up to find he has become part of the Slate 5000 System! He is now the radically hip on-screen “teacher” personality “Doctor VJ” broadcasting live to Wickersham from the over 658 Slate monitors located throughout the institution. And it turns Wickersham on its head.
