Before you upload your screenplay and pitch (pitch is optional but helpful), it's best to review the following facts:
There is a detailed agreement at each stage of the process: Submission, Adaptation and Publication. If you chose not to sign any of these agreements that will end the process of publication – but no hard feelings we understand. General description of the agreements are contained here. (This is not the agreement but simply a more detailed overview of the overall process for publication so you are aware of it in advance).
AS A SPECIAL INTRODUCTORY OFFER PLAYVEL IS WAIVING THE $50.00 CANADIAN SUBMISSION FEE.
Playvel will not provide any comment or critique of your work at the submission stage. We will simply respond yes or no for you to proceed to the next stage which is Adaptation. This stage represents the greatest effort for both you and Playvel staff but we do not charge for Adaptation in order to demonstrate our commitment to your work.
If you are a single author wishing to submit a script on your own (without a co-author) please follow the STEPS FOR YOU TO SUBMIT YOUR SCREENPLAY OR STAGEPLAY TO PLAYVEL below.
If you are a co-author wishing to submit a script with another co-author please read the CO-AUTHOR SUBMISSION GUIDANCE here and discuss it with your co-author before proceeding.
Here are the steps for you to submit your screenplay or stage play to playvel:
Step One: Click on the PLAYVEL SUBMISSION AGREEMENT button below. You must register in full prior to submission. After registration and login you will arrive at your MY ACCOUNT page. Please click on the SCREENWRITER’S page above and click through to access the Playvel Submission Agreement directly. Complete and submit the Submission Agreement. You can only submit ONE file. If you have a pitch please include it as page 1 of your submission BEFORE your title page. Playvel will not review scripts without a title page and named author(s).
Step Two: Upload your script in PDF format only.
Step Three: Please wait for our Adaptation decision which will come to you via email.
